Strategic event planning that frees your leaders to focus on people, build relationships, and make a lasting impact
Get to Know Zoe (ζωή)
At Zoe Strategic Events, we believe gatherings should create opportunities for connection, strengthen relationships, and move your ministry's mission forward.
But we also know what it takes to make those ministry events happen.
Church leaders are already carrying a lot. Between caring for people, leading teams, preparing for Sundays, and managing the everyday needs of a church, planning another event can feel like adding a whole new job to an already full plate.
And sometimes, the people who worked the hardest to bring everyone together spend the entire gathering managing details instead of being present with the people they came to serve.
We believe there's a better way to carry that work.
Founded by Samantha Rhodes, Zoe brings experience in church and ministry leadership, strategic event planning, and hands-on coordination. We understand the demands of ministry events because we've been on the other side of the planning table, from small-group planning and youth events to multi-church gatherings and denominational meetings.
We come alongside your team to connect your event to its ministry goals, develop a thoughtful plan, coordinate the logistics, and provide experienced leadership from preparation through execution.
We're not here to take over your ministry. We're here to extend your team's capacity, share the responsibility, and help you make the most of the opportunities you've worked so hard to create.
Because the people called to lead a gathering deserve the opportunity to be present for it, too.
Meet Samantha Rhodes
Founder | Ministry Event Strategist
Samantha Rhodes has always found joy in the work of preparing the place.
For more than 10 years, Samantha has served in church and regional ministry leadership, helping plan and lead conferences, camps, fundraisers, retreats, outreach initiatives, and community events. She's spent plenty of time on both sides of the planning table and understands what it takes to bring people together while balancing the everyday responsibilities of ministry.
Over the years, she's discovered that some of her greatest strengths show up behind the scenes. She enjoys taking a big idea, organizing the moving pieces, anticipating needs, and helping a team work toward a shared goal. She's also learned that even the best-planned event will come with unexpected challenges, and having someone who can calmly navigate those moments makes a difference.
But for Samantha, the work has never been just about pulling off a successful event. It's about the people who gather, the relationships that grow, and the opportunities for ministry that happen along the way.
That perspective, along with her experience and love for serving the local church, led her to establish Zoe Strategic Events.
For Samantha, preparing the place is both a practical skill and a personal expression of her faith. She sees this work as an opportunity to use the gifts God has given her to support churches and ministry leaders in the work they're called to do.
Samantha lives in the Denver area with her husband, Bryan, and their two daughters, Abigail and Kaitlyn. Being a wife and mom is an important part of her life, and she loves the time she gets to spend with her family.
Through Zoe, Samantha hopes to be a trusted partner to ministry teams, helping carry the planning and behind-the-scenes responsibilities so leaders have more freedom to be present, invest in relationships, and serve the people they've gathered.
